Walking holidays on the amazing Vis Island - Croatia's Best Kept Secret! Experience great walking trails on the beautiful Vis Island. Explore the amazing coastline, famous Adriatic beaches and medieval towns on foot. A moderately paced walking holiday with two half and full days of walking.
Of all of Croatia’s islands, Vis may be the most intriguing. Set deeper into the Adriatic Sea than its neighbours, Vis was kept off-limits to the general public until the Yugoslav army abandoned it in 1989. This has kept its stunning natural charms intact, with plenty of space to explore away from the summer crowds.
This tiny Croatian island gets star billing the Mamma Mia sequel. And, with beautiful beaches, 17th-century architecture, many walking trails and great seafood restaurants, it’s easy to see why.
