It was an awesome trip. Hard certainly, and with some long days, but riding through the countryside with crops and fields on every side, wildflowers edges, mountains in the distance and small villages where you could stop for food breaks was just lovely. A moving experience to arrive in Venice with all the other "pilgrims".
