  1. Day 1 Kraljevo (Serbia) to Studenica

    • Kraljevo and its surroundings are a cradle of Serbian state and culture, situated 180 km southern from Belgrade, today's capital. In the middle ages this area was the centre of the Serbian state, Raska, ruled by the holy dynasty of Nemanjic. Studenica Monastery, the highlight of the tour, was founded by this dynasty and it is the largest and the richest Serbian Orthodox monastery. In 1986 UNESCO included Studenica monastery on the list of World Heritage Sites.

The tour finishes in Novi Pazar, a multicultural area of Muslims and Orthodox Christians, with many monuments of both religions, like the Altun-Alen Mosque and the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. 
  3. Day 3 Biking from Novi Pazar to Sjenica

    • Until the beginning of the 19. Century Tutin was only a caravan station. The settlement was greatly developed in the 20th Century and had at the beginning of the 21st Century already a population of 30.000 people. Cyclists are fascinated by the unspoiled nature of Pester plateau on the way from Tutin to Sjenica. The largest plateau in the Balkan Peninsula represents the unique, splendid and incomparable oasis in the heart of Europe.
  4. Day 4 Biking from Sjenica to Prijepolje

    • Jadovnik is a mountain on the western edge of Pester plateau, between towns of Prijepolje and Sjenica. One of the most panoramic parts of the 8th-day long cycling tour has many breathtaking views with the pastures and meadows all around. The Mileseva Monastery, the culture highlight of the day, has a special meaning among the Orthodox Serbs. The frescoe called "White Angel" is considered to be one of the great achievements in the European painting of the Middle Age period.
  5. Day 5 Biking from Prijepolje to Bijelo Polje (Montenegro)

The area around Kolašin, mountain range Bjelasica (in the National park Biogradska gora) is the place of dense forests, wide meadows and steep slopes. The cradle of Montenegrian culture is the city of Cetinje, founded in the 15th Century. The city is located on a small karst plain, surrounded by limestone mountains, including Mount Lovćen in Lovćen National Park. The last part of the tour is a descent with breathtaking views on the Gulf of Kotar and Tivat.

  • first aid (a small basic kit with items such as bandages, antiseptic wipes, gauze, antibacterial ointment, sterile pads),
  • small bike backpack to pack all your day belongings,
  • biking shoes –  choose wisely!

 

  • The tour is considered to be moderate to challenging. There is an average of 5-6 hours of biking each day with many ascends and descends. A good physical condition is essential.
  • Make sure you take sufficient water/drinks on a trip every day.
  • Breakfast is included in every accommodation.
  • We advise that you to start your daily trips early  in the morning to allow yourself enough time to stop often and enjoy the scenery and escape the hot summer sun.
  • In case bad weather is predicted, do not forget to bring your rain-covers and a change of extra dry clothes. We also advise in this case that you to place packed things in plastic bags before packing them in the  backpacks.
  • All customers are required to notify us before booking the tour of any medical conditions, as well as  dietary restrictions. All medications can and should be brought to all activities in the program. If you suffer from any medical conditions, we strongly suggest that you consult your physician before booking a tour to receive an expert medical advice. We are more than happy to discuss and recommend the most suitable adventure for you based on your conditions, but cannot ultimately be responsible for your health.

Croatian coast has a typically Mediterranean climate consisting of hot, dry, sunny weather during summer.

Average temperatures during summer lies in the high 20s °C, although it is more likely that you’ll have temperatures well into the 30s °C.

The sunniest island in Croatia is Hvar, with over 2,700 hours of sun per year. Split, Vela Luka (on the island of Korčula) and Dubrovnik are the next sunniest spots in Dalmatia.

Croatia boasts with very low humidity, sitting at about 60%, so even in the scorching sun the heat is bearable.

We suggest that you travel with a comprehensive travel insurance, including emergency evacuation coverage. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance that includes cancellation protection so that you will be covered in the event that you are unable to attend our trip (due to injury, illness or other unforeseen circumstances). We do not provide travel insurance for our clients. Please contact your local travel agent to purchase travel insurance. As coverage and a price of the insurance changes depending on your travel destination, do make sure that you purchase a coverage for all countries you will be traveling in on your adventure.

The tour is considered to be moderate level of difficulty.  A good physical condition is essential.
Due to the nature of the package, this program is not recommended for children younger than 16 years and pregnant women.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult, who is either their parent or legal guardian.
